TK Audio BC1-THD Stereo Bus Compressor

Engineers call it “The Magic Glue” when the TK Audio BC1-THD Stereo Bus Compressor’s transparent compression strengthens mixes without compromising clarity.

TK Audio BC1-THD Stereo Bus Compressor Details

The BC1-THD provides smooth bus compression that applies for both mixing and tracking. The built-in blend control makes it easy to apply parallel compression by adjusting the blend of dry and compressed signal. A switchable sidechain filter can be applied which makes the BC1-THD less responsive to low frequency energy. The THD function adds more harmonics to the signal and the “grab” mode selects a harder threshold knee on all four ratio settings. Smooth and transparent compression will never go out of fashion.

The TK Audio BC1-THD Stereo Bus Compressor offers a smooth and transparent “glue” effect, seamlessly bringing your audio elements together. It includes a sidechain filter with three selectable frequencies, allowing you to fine-tune the compression response to match your specific needs. For added sonic versatility, there’s a selectable THD function that introduces “even” harmonics, enriching your sound.

The grab function is a handy feature that selects a harder threshold knee, ideal for controlling dynamic peaks effectively. Additionally, the blend control simplifies parallel compression, letting you blend in the right amount of compressed signal. With all controls stepped, this compressor ensures effortless recall of your preferred settings, making it a valuable tool in your audio processing arsenal.
