Tegeler EQP-1 Equaliser Details

Have you ever heard highs like this from a software EQ? I doubt it. With the Tegeler EQP-1 Equaliser, you can dial in the highs and bass to sound exactly as you imagined—if not better. You’ll be amazed and wonder how you ever managed without the Classic Equalizer. Haven’t you thought that every plugin you’ve tried could be better? You were right, and now you’ve found the solution. Get the Classic Equalizer and hear it for yourself.

Despite significant advances in digital technology over recent years, truly great-sounding equalisers remain the domain of analogue devices. Those who have heard the Classic Equalizer understand why: vocals sound silky, instruments stand out clearly in the mix without needing to be turned up, and low-frequency instruments like bass and kick drums gain the perfect boost without becoming boomy. Boosting the treble doesn’t just raise the highs—everything simply sounds fresher.

The Tegeler EQP-1 Equaliser is based on classic vintage equalisers, using passive components like capacitors and inductors in the EQ section, which give it its distinctive sound.

The Tegeler EQP-1 Equaliser features three sections: Bass Boost and Cut, Treble Boost with adjustable bandwidth, and a High-Frequency Cut.

The Tegeler EQP-1 Equaliser is equipped with a valve stage and high-quality input and output transformers. Alongside its open and airy EQ sound, the valves and transformers add density and presence to the signal. The low end becomes more transparent and defined, while the highs sound smoother and more pleasant to the ears. This effect is noticeable as soon as the device is in the signal chain, even when the equaliser is not engaged.
