High-Fidelity Recording
Achieve studio-quality results with 2-track simultaneous recording at up to 192 kHz and 24-bit sample rates. The Broadcast Wave Format (BWF) and Waveform Audio Format (WAV) file formats provide compatibility and excellence in audio reproduction.

Versatile Operation Modes
The Tascam HS-2 offers three operation modes – Timeline, Take, and Playlist – catering to diverse recording needs. In Timeline mode, experience linear recording and playback reminiscent of a traditional tape recorder. Take mode allows for easy playback and flash start of takes, while Playlist mode lets you create and play back lists or activate them using flash start.

Remote Control Options
Enhance your workflow with the convenience of remote control. The Tascam RC-HS20PD and RC–SS20 (both sold separately) enable flash start, and you can also use PARALLEL control or a keyboard for added flexibility.

The recorder features XLR analogue balanced inputs and outputs, RCA analogue unbalanced inputs and outputs, XLR AES/EBU digital inputs and outputs, and COAXIAL S/PDIF digital inputs and outputs. Additionally, it offers a headphone output for monitoring purposes.
