The Lake People MC100 is a premium desktop monitor controller engineered in Germany for professional monitoring environments. Designed to exceed the capabilities of conventional monitor controllers, the MC100 features five stereo inputs, two balanced XLR, one unbalanced RCA, a front-panel 3.5 mm input, and a USB input with a high-quality D/A converter supporting PCM up to 384 kHz / 32-bit and DSD256.
Users can switch inputs individually or sum them together, with LED indicators showing active channels. Output options on the Lake People MC100 include three balanced XLR monitor paths (A, B, C), a dedicated subwoofer output, and two slave outputs for meters or additional routing. A 50 mm detented RK27 potentiometer controls the volume for all monitor groups, including the sub.
Monitoring tools include channel swap, phase invert, solo left/right, mono summing, mute and a dim function (-20 dB), all with LED status. A powerful headphone amplifier with both 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm jacks is also included, complete with its own volume control and X-Feed crossfeed circuit, which simulates speaker playback for headphone use.
Rear-panel switches allow each output group to be attenuated by 0, -6, or -12 dB, ensuring precise calibration for different monitoring setups. The Lake People MC100 is housed in a rugged metal chassis with an 8 mm aluminium front panel, reflecting its high build quality and long-term reliability.
