Korg AM8000R Ambience Multi-Effects Processor

The Korg AM8000R Ambience Multi-Effects Processor offers advanced, high-quality sound processing with a user-friendly interface, extensive effects options, and flexible real-time control at an affordable price.

Korg AM8000R Ambience Multi-Effects Processor Details

The Korg AM8000R is an extremely versatile true stereo multi-effects processor, ideal for a wide range of applications, including single instrument use, studio work, and live sound reinforcement.

The Korg AM8000R boasts superb sound quality, utilising 18-bit, 128 times oversampling analogue-to-digital and digital-to-analogue converters operating at an industry-standard 48kHz sampling rate. This delivers a dynamic range greater than 96dB and a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz, resulting in uncompromised processing power and audio clarity at a realistic price.

As you would expect from KORG, the Korg AM8000R offers a full range of forty sophisticated internal effects. You can choose from ambient effects such as a variety of delays and reverbs, or from modulation effects including chorus, flanger, and rotor simulator. Adding to its versatility are effects like a compressor, limiter, 3-band EQ, and much more. Each effect is of the highest quality and provides advanced parameters typically found only in the most expensive processing equipment.

Additionally, the Korg AM8000R’s processing architecture allows for three user-assignable independent effects, along with left and right 3-band pre-EQ, to be routed and mixed internally.

The Korg AM8000R features flexible real-time dynamic control, allowing simultaneous real-time control of up to eight parameters. Unlike many multi-effects processors that only offer control over a few preselected parameters, the Korg AM8000R enables virtually any parameter of any effect to be controlled via MIDI, an expression pedal or footswitch, or the special front panel WARP! knob.

Effects like Chorus/Flanger, Phaser, and Filter can also be further modulated by up to four types of LFOs. This results in effect parameter control as flexible as physically twisting the knobs on multiple externally connected effects processors – all at once!

Outstanding Multi-Effects
As expected from Korg, the AM8000R includes a full range of forty sophisticated internal effects. Choose from ambient effects like various delays and reverbs, or modulation effects such as chorus, flanger, and rotor simulator. The unit also features effects like a compressor, limiter, and 3-band EQ, among many others. Each effect maintains the highest quality and offers advanced parameters typically found only in the most expensive processing equipment.

Moreover, the Korg AM8000R’s processing architecture allows for three user-assignable independent effects (plus left and right 3-band pre-EQ) to be routed and mixed internally.

Flexible Real-Time Dynamic Control
The Korg AM8000R offers simultaneous real-time control of up to eight parameters. Unlike many multi-effects processors that only allow control of a few preselected parameters, the Korg AM8000R lets you control virtually any parameter of any effect via MIDI, an expression pedal, footswitch, or the special front panel WARP! knob.

Additionally, it enables modulation of Chorus/Flanger, Phaser, and Filter with four types of LFO and the audio signal envelope. This provides effect parameter control as flexible as if you were actually adjusting the knobs on numerous externally connected effects processors – all at once!
