Whether you’re using a MIDI keyboard, guitar, wind controller, or drums, the Ensoniq EPS-M sampler has everything you need to elevate your sound. With an extensive library of high-quality sounds, robust performance features that match your playing style, and powerful tools for music creation and arrangement, it’s designed to keep your creativity flowing. Plus, its fast memory ensures you’re always ready to capture your ideas.
The Ensoniq EPS-M is a full-bandwidth sampler that comes with 13 built-in sounds and offers 20-note polyphony, giving you the flexibility to explore complex musical arrangements with ease.
Creating and manipulating new sounds is simple, thanks to its advanced looping and voice editing features. With sample rates up to 52.1 kHz and a 96 dB dynamic range, the EPS-M delivers exceptional clarity. The unit’s 1.7 MB memory provides storage for over one megaword of sounds at any given time, dynamically allocated across up to eight polyphonic instruments.
In performance mode, layering and stacking sounds is as easy as double-clicking a button, while global editing simplifies fine-tuning. The EPS-M’s responsiveness to polyphonic aftertouch and multi-timbral information ensures expressive playback with any connected instrument. Better yet, you can play while new sounds are loading, allowing you to stay focused on your music rather than system setup.
The Ensoniq EPS-M also functions as a complete recording studio. It can handle up to 16 tracks, which can be edited and mixed with ease. The MIDI auto-mix feature controls volume and fades for both internal and external sounds.
The unit provides ten line outputs, including eight polyphonic individual outs, for straightforward panning and separate EQ and effects processing. With its dynamically assigned memory, the Ensoniq EPS-M can store over 80,000 notes, making it perfect for both single long compositions and entire live sets.
The built-in disk drive lets you save and load sounds, sequences, and songs, and even exchange data with other MIDI devices. The inclusion of SCSI connectors and compatible software means you can use external hard drives for additional storage. Its hierarchical file system allows for efficient data management, with support for drives up to five gigabytes – ideal for even the most demanding users.
Whatever your instrument of choice or workflow preference, the Ensoniq EPS-M meets your needs with exceptional sounds and sequencing capabilities. Its powerful, flexible design and user-friendly interface make creating music a seamless experience.
