dbx 3BX 3 Band Dynamic Range Expander

The dbx 3BX is a state-of-the-art dynamic range expander that enhances audio quality by dividing the sound spectrum into three frequency bands. Utilising advanced RMS detectors and voltage-controlled amplifiers, it individually expands bass, midrange, and treble, ensuring pristine sound clarity and preserving musical integrity even in the most complex compositions.

dbx 3BX 3 Band Dynamic Range Expander Details

With the dbx 3BX, dbx has advanced dynamic range expansion by dividing the audio spectrum into three separate frequency bands.

The dbx 3BX uses multiple true RMS detectors and voltage-controlled amplifiers, allowing the bass, midrange, and treble portions of your music to be linearly expanded individually. This method achieves stunning results that other expander systems cannot match.

With the dbx 3BX, powerful, percussive bass notes won’t artificially elevate midrange sounds, and midrange crescendos won’t cause low-level high-frequency information to be unnaturally brought to the foreground.

This precision ensures that even the most complex musical material maintains its integrity, providing an unmatched solution for audiophiles who demand the highest level of sound quality.
