Chandler Limited Curve Bender Equaliser Details

The Chandler Limited Curve Bender is the ultimate TG equalizer, created to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Abbey Road Studios. Designed by Chandler Limited’s Wade Goeke, the Chandler Limited Curve Bender is inspired by the iconic EMI TG12345 desk, famously used for recordings by The Beatles and Pink Floyd. This latest EMI equalizer carries forward the legacy of EMI EQs, which began in 1954 with the RS57, followed by the 1969 TG12345, and the 1974 TG12412.

In this version, Wade expanded the original nine EQ options into 51 EQ points and added a multiplier switch, allowing up to ±13.5dB cut/boost with a sharper Q, as well as filter and bell/shelf selections for the high and low bands.

Note: Since 2011, mastering and standard features have been combined into a single unit. Setting the multiplier toggle to x1 provides 0.5dB steps for a total of ±5dB boost/cut per band. Switching it to x1.5 allows up to ±13.5dB boost/cut per band. The main L/R output switches always operate in ±0.5dB steps, allowing a total of ±5dB boost/cut.

All TG units require the Chandler Limited PSU-1 power supply, which includes an internal switch to select between 120V and 220V (115V/230V).
