AudioScape EQP-A

AudioScape EQP-A Equaliser

The AudioScape EQP-A, what more needs to be said? After over a year of intensive R&D, listening tests, and detailed analysis, we uncovered some truly revealing insights. With this knowledge, we’re proud to present a faithful recreation of the iconic Pultec EQP-1A that spares no detail, makes no compromises, and stays true to our mission of delivering Sonic Truth.

AudioScape EQP-A Equaliser Details

The AudioScape EQP-A is the latest addition to the AudioScape lineup, a Made-in-USA recreation of the legendary vintage tube equaliser. Known for its silky, electric sheen and tight, thunderous low end, this classic circuit has defined the sound of countless recordings for over half a century. In true AudioScape fashion, we’ve devoted extraordinary time, passion, and detail to ensure our version performs just like the original, all while being accessible to engineers at any level.

Unlike many clones and replicas on the market, the AudioScape EQP-A doesn’t just aim to look the part – it captures the magic of the original Pultec EQP-1A. It features NOS tubes, including the often-omitted NOS 6X4 rectifier tube, as well as custom-wound inductors and transformers. Crucially, our design includes the interstage transformer, an essential component omitted from most replicas, and we’ve corrected schematic errors in the original designs that compromised performance at certain filter settings. These refinements ensure the EQP-A behaves and sounds as it should, delivering the same stunning sonic character of the vintage units.

The AudioScape EQP-A is built to fully embody the electrifying, larger-than-life sonic elegance of the original. It has been meticulously refined to recreate the vivid, detailed, and elegant tone that has amazed engineers worldwide for decades. Every time the circuit is engaged or a setting adjusted, the AudioScape EQP-A delivers the same awe-inspiring reaction the vintage units are known for.

At AudioScape, we prioritise Sonic Truth, crafting each product to authentically replicate the magic and character of vintage gear. The AudioScape EQP-A is no exception, and we’re confident it will exceed your expectations. Handcrafted in Florida, the AudioScape EQP-A uses NOS and USA-made components wherever possible. We never cut corners or make compromises for convenience or profit, ensuring every unit meets our high standards. Each AudioScape EQP-A comes with a two-year warranty, backed by industry-leading customer service.
