AccuVerb Dual Channel Tube Spring Reverb Details

The AccuVerb is a rare and highly regarded all-tube stereo preamp and spring reverb unit, it is also considered one of the very best spring reverbs ever made.

Produced in limited quantities – some estimates suggesting fewer than 100 units – this unit delivers a warm, vintage sound through its dual-channel design, making it a sought-after piece for musicians and recording engineers.

Renowned for its use of 12AU7 tubes, the AccuVerb provides rich tonal depth and exceptional reverb character.

AccuVerb Features:

  • Channel 1 & 2 Input Level: Controls the input drive level, designed for both professional and semi-professional gear. Each channel is equipped with LED VU meters for quick visual reference. The “Pull Dry” option sends the dry signal to the output mix.
  • Source Control: Allows balance adjustments between Channel 1 and Channel 2 for reverb input drive.
  • Length Control: Adjusts the decay time, effectively altering the “room length.” The “Pull Boost” option enhances low frequencies.
  • Width Control: Combines or separates reverb outputs to modify the “room width.” The “Pull Bright” option simulates a “lower ceiling” effect for a different reverb tone.
  • Mix Control: Regulates the amount of reverb signal in the output. The “Pull Dry” function blends the reverb with the dry signal.
  • Output Level Switch: The -10 dB position reduces output levels for equipment that cannot handle full line-level signals.
  • Channel 1 & 2 Output Levels: Controls the output levels for each channel, with LED VU meters for visual monitoring.
  • Power On/Off Switch: Illuminated for easy visibility.
  • Input and Output Jacks: Equipped with balanced stereo 1/4″ jacks that run parallel with XLR jacks for both input and output on each channel. Unbalanced 1/4″ plugs can be used without causing damage.
  • Power Requirements: Configured for 120 Volts AC. It uses a 1 amp 250 V slow blow fuse (20.5 mm x 0.8 mm).
