About

Vintage digital and analogue audio effects spanning from the late 1950s to the present are truly remarkable. They are held in high regard by some of the industry's top mix engineers who incorporate them into their daily work, contributing to the creation of some of the most iconic records of our era. Our dedicated commitment is to preserve and honour these invaluable treasures.

This website is all about curating a vast collection of vintage studio effects, digital converters, and audio recorders. Our ultimate goal is to transform it into a comprehensive museum. We put a lot of effort into recreating each product in Affinity Photo or editing existing high-quality images to meet our standards. When possible, we even get our hands on the actual items, capturing them in super high resolution before the necessary edits for the website.

Alongside these images, you’ll find a treasure trove of information sourced from advertising materials, user manuals, and product reviews specific to each item. Recreating each product in Affinity Photo takes an average of 4 to 8 hours, and when you multiply that by the number of featured products, you can see the significant time investment. We’ve also spent hundreds of hours on in-depth research to ensure the accuracy of specifications and gather relevant information for each product.

Considering all these efforts, we kindly ask for a small donation to access the library of manuals available on our site. Your contributions are vital in maintaining the accuracy and quality of the information we provide. We’re excited to welcome and encourage any input or information you can share to enhance the overall quality of our content.
