The Burl Audio B32 Vancouver is a 32-channel mix bus that uses Burl Audio’s renowned all-discrete, class-A analogue circuitry. It combines the transparency of the B26 Orca with the switchable tonality of Burl Audio’s proprietary BX5 output transformer.
In addition to the BX5, the Burl Audio B32 Vancouver introduces a new concept to summing amplifiers: Gain Boost. Engaging Gain Boost with the BX5 output transformer provides the “glue” effect traditionally sought after when retiring 2-track analogue recorders.
With 32 input channels and selectable tonal characteristics, the Burl B32 Vancouver delivers mixes with greater depth, warmth and clarity. Used alongside Burl’s B1 Mic Pres, the B80 Mothership and the B26 Orca, it forms a complete analogue solution.
Now updated with Burl’s NextGen analogue circuitry, the Burl B32 Vancouver features the new BOPA14 op-amps, delivering tighter bass, higher definition across the audio spectrum, a wider stereo image, and greater depth while preserving the original shape and harmonic balance of the source. These improvements build upon Burl Audio’s existing reputation for exceptional sonic performance.
