The Kahayan Epsilon 32-500 is a versatile 500 series summing mixer designed for hybrid studio workflows. It offers 32 channels of summing across two mix buses – A and B – with independent master outputs for each. This allows engineers to create two different mixes simultaneously or use one mix bus for monitoring and the other for printing.
The Kahayan Epsilon 32-500 also includes a Mix Blend knob for blending between the A and B outputs, a unique feature that provides creative control over the final sound. In addition to its summing capabilities, the unit includes a Mono, Mute, and Insert switch for each mix bus, giving users precise control over routing and outboard integration.
Designed for those who want the headroom and sonic characteristics of analogue summing with the flexibility of modular systems, the Kahayan Epsilon 32-500 is fully compatible with standard 500 series racks.
It includes two dedicated 500 series slots that can be assigned to either the A or B bus, further enhancing its flexibility as a centrepiece for hybrid mixing setups. Kahayan’s emphasis on signal integrity and build quality is evident throughout the unit, from its high-grade components to its solid, rackmountable chassis.
