The RME Fireface 802 FS is a 60-channel, 192 kHz high-end USB audio interface designed for professional studio and live applications. Housed in a 19-inch rackmount enclosure, it offers a comprehensive set of features aimed at delivering uncompromising sound quality, stability, and ultra-low latency operation.
Equipped with 12 analogue inputs and outputs, including four front-panel XLR/TRS combo inputs for microphone, instrument, or line-level signals, and eight rear-panel balanced TRS line-level inputs and outputs, the RME Fireface 802 FS provides versatile connectivity options. Two stereo headphone outputs on the front panel deliver high output levels, suitable for both low and high-impedance headphones.
Digital connectivity on the RME Fireface 802 FS includes two ADAT optical inputs and outputs, an AES/EBU input and output, and a Word Clock input and output, allowing integration with a wide range of digital audio equipment. A MIDI input and output are also provided for connecting MIDI devices.
The RME Fireface 802 FS features RME’s SteadyClock FS technology, ensuring ultra-low jitter and stable synchronization across all digital formats. All analogue outputs are DC-coupled, providing accurate signal transmission and compatibility with a variety of equipment.
Control and monitoring are facilitated through RME’s TotalMix FX software, offering comprehensive routing and monitoring options, as well as a suite of DSP effects including EQ, dynamics, reverb, and delay.
