TC Electronic G-Force Guitar Processor Details

The TC Electronic G-Force offers flexible routing and control options, along with 8 powerful effects, each delivering sound quality that surpasses standalone units. It produces sounds beyond anything you’ve experienced or imagined. With the TC Electronic G-Force, digital multi-effects processing has truly evolved, allowing you to achieve high-quality effects without compromising your original tone!

  • The display consists of two sections. One for detailed Preset information and editing. The other section clearly displays Preset Number or Tuner information with large digits that are easy to see even on distance e.g. on a stage.
  • With a standard PCMCIA card (not supplied) you have perfect and easy backup of your favourite presets. You can store up to 10 banks of 100 presets on a 1Mb card.
  • All tempo-related effects can be set to respond to a tapped tempo. Either from the TC Electronic G-Force front panel or from a MIDI pedal or even a momentary switch connected to the Pedal Input on the G-Force rear panel. This allows the Tempo of e.g. the Delay to be perfectly matched to the song you are currently playing.
  • The 9 Effect Block keys serve for various purposes and make the navigation in the TC Electronic G-Force a breeze. From the Recall page effect blocks can be switched on/off with a single click. In the Effects menu each block is accessed fast with a double click on one of the block keys. This means easy editing and preset configuration. No endless menus to scroll trough to achieve basic functions.
  • Navigating in menus is natural and logical. With two cursor keys for vertical navigation, a dedicated Parameter Select wheel and a dedicated wheel for changing Parameter values, it simply doesn’t get any better.

The TC Electronic G-Force is the most versatile guitar effects processor available, designed to meet the high expectations of guitarists who have unique needs and preferences for setting up and controlling effects chains. Its unmatched flexibility in routing and external control makes it the perfect solution for these demands. Backed by TC Electronic’s expertise in high-end audio hardware and effects processing, the G-Force guarantees exceptional performance and sound quality.

The TC Electronic G-Force comes loaded with 225 presets, covering a wide range of styles from subtle to intense effects. Additionally, more presets can be accessed through the G-Card, featuring creations from some of the world’s top guitarists.

While the pre-programmed presets cater to most styles, you may want to customise or create your own. The TC Electronic G-Force provides 100 user preset locations for this purpose. By using a 1MB PCMCIA card, you can store up to 10 banks of 100 additional presets, either for direct access or as backups.

Setting up effect algorithm blocks in the TC Electronic G-Force’s Routing matrix is simple and intuitive. It’s like building a brand-new pedalboard for each preset without needing to plug in a single cable or solder any connections. Use the PARAMETER WHEEL to choose where you want to insert an effect, then select which block to insert using the VALUE wheel. You can route effects in series, parallel, or a mix of both – the choice is yours.

To adjust settings, simply navigate to the Edit menu using the ARROW keys, double-click on the effect block you want to configure, and start fine-tuning.

Of course you can start building each block from scratch every time, but wouldn’t it be nice if you could just extract your favourite effect blocks from various presets and mix them in one single preset without having to “dial in” all the values? You can – using the Partial Recall function. Via the Recall display you can simply choose to recall only one effect block and load this block into your current preset.
