- Dual distortion paths: The DigiTech 2120 Artist provides versatile tone options with dual distortion routing, allowing signal path selection, parallel running, and morphing between two paths. You can also pan both distortion paths left and right for massive guitar tones.
- Dual tubes and EQ: The dual tube distortion path utilises two 12AX7 preamp tubes, a dedicated 10-band graphic EQ, and a noise gate, followed by a speaker cabinet emulator that can be placed before or after the digital effects.
- Solid state and EQ: The solid-state distortion path also offers the 10-band EQ, followed by the noise gate and speaker cabinet emulator.
- Noise reduction: The Silencer II system eliminates background noise, ensuring crystal-clear recordings.

Seamless program changes
With single S-DISC II algorithms, the DigiTech 2120 Artist allows smooth program changes without signal dropout. You can adjust hold and release times for effect transitions, ranging from 0.0 seconds to infinity, set on Page 4 of the Master Mix menu in Edit mode.
Real-time modifiers
Modifiers offer real-time control over your sound, based on signal amplitude, Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO) settings, or MIDI Continuous Controller data.
- MIDI CCs: Assign MIDI CCs (0-127 or aftertouch) to control parameters like reverb, chorus, or delay feedback in different programs.
- LFOs: Control parameter values automatically between a defined minimum and maximum. The Digitech 2120 Artist has two LFOs per program that can be assigned to any parameter, allowing you to create effects like auto panning without a dedicated module.
- Dynamic modifiers: Control parameters based on the dynamics of the input signal, offering nearly endless possibilities that cannot be replicated through other methods.
Each program in the DigiTech 2120 Artist can assign up to 16 modifier links for even greater flexibility in shaping your sound.
