The Fostex CR300 is a highly engineered rack-mountable machine which offers state-of-the-art digital and analogue audio recording to both professional and consumer CD-R and CD-RW media via easy-to-use front panel controls.

Professional features of the Fostex CR300 include 4 CD-RW erase modes, digital fade-in and fade-out for smoother recordings, three modes of copy bit selection and support for FDMS (Fostex Disk Management System) data backup from Fostex Digital Multitrackers.

The Fostex CR300 offers a full complement of digital I/O’s including AES/EBU input and S/P-DIF are present, along with a built-in sample rate converter – essential for making original CD masters from DAT or MD media.

Construction of the chassis is what you would expect from Fostex and has been designed to provide a high level of screening against electronic interference.

And quality-matched components plus not one, but two internal power supplies, each with their own transformers, ensures an unrivalled sonic performance.

Great unit. Durable (40 years old and still going unlike the imported stuff being offered today). I own several different delays (I.e. ADA, Lexicon, and multi effect units) and this thing matches up to the best of them. Recommended!
